In the early 1900’s, hospital care was provided to Poplar and Wolf Point citizens by the Indian Hospital (for Native Americans only) in Poplar and by several small private hospitals, owned and staffed by women with nurses training, in both communities.

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, NEMHS will host it's 3rd annual ChariTEA & Trunk Show Oct. 25, 2014, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Elk's in Wolf Point!
